I'm having an issue with VMware Horizon 7 that when a user fails a logon due to a bad password, Windows is generating a security log (Event 4625) with "Logon type: 8" which means it is being sent as Cleartext.
Is there a way to prevent it from being sent as Cleartext, Logon type 8 on a failed logon?
Are you using Horizon Client to log on to the broker? or you are logging to Horizon 7 administrator UI with the bad password? Please give more information about the issue, thanks!

These logs are occurring on both the Horizon client or web-based client, as a user or admin.

This same issue started happening to us last winter after patching of the Horizon server. What is the solution? (updated note: this issue may be fixed in Horizon 8).
