Hi, for a test I installed a new Horizon V7.12 infrastructure. If I add in View Manager some VDI's, the vCenter will create this VDI's. But then it will stay on customizing. In vCenter I can see the newly created VDI's but the have all in Windows the name of the VDI-Master VM. I think the problem is VMware sysprep related.
In which log files can I find the problem WIndows or VMware logs?
Thanks for a hint, and stay healthy
Best regards
Werner

Sysprep logs can be found in below locations on VDI:
Look for setupact.log and setuperr.log files in above locations. Other than that since customization is stuck, also check the domain join logs found at C:\windows\debug\netsetup.log and netlogon.log and see if domain join is failing by any chance.
Hi ARomeo,
thanks, I will check this in the next 2 days. For this View test environment i do not have a KMS server. In older Horizon View version it was working without it.
I will check the logs and permissions.

Hi Shreyskar,
thanks! I will check this! Hope it is not because of the missing KMS server (it is a small test environment)
have a good week!

If its not using a KMS server its possible the MAK key being used is out of activations, which the fix is getting a new MAK key or preferably setting up a KMS server.
