Horizon Client 2006 or 2012

In looking at the support matrix for all the different versions of the Horizon client I see that for version 2012 or 2006 they are only supported on Windows 10 versions 20H2, 2004, 1909, and 1903. Does this mean those clients will not work on older versions of Windows 10 or just that if we have an issue and call support they will not support us until we upgrade???  Very important to get this question asked.

It means no support will be provided till update to supported versions and no testing done with those older versions (so not able to say it work or not).
