As of today (02/12/2020), I am surprised to find out this method combination is not supported...I don't even know how to plea/ask/request VMWare to get their butts together and support this. It's been 18 months!
I've opened at least two tickets regarding this, once Support found out that the machine that I need assistance on was Windows 10.1909, they promptly said "not supported" and close the ticket.
