Horizon 8 Windows 10 multiple session

HI Team,

We have new environment in Horizon 8 and we are noticing users getting multiple sessions either in the same pool in the POD or in the secondary pod . 

We have tried to add the parameter cs-allowfallbackfromexistingsession=0 but still there is  issue of multiple sessions for the users. 

Please Advise if some one has faced this issue and have resolved the same

I would recommend trying to utilize Home Sites to see if this fixes the issue.  Additionally I would also make sure that your desktop pools have Allow Separate Desktop Sessions from Different Client Devices set to No.

Thank you for the response. Currently Allow Separate Desktop Sessions from Different Client Devices set to No but we dont have home sites defined we will try it out and will update you.

Also when this happens user get the message "you are not entitled to use the desktop\application" but we do have all entitlements available.

Hi @nevgeo_cwr,

I would make sure you are controlling your entitlements through Global Entitlements only.  If you are doing Individual entitlements and Global entitlements it can cause oddities like this, especially people being delivered to the wrong pod.

VMware Support has confirmed it a known issue with  Horizon 2111 and multiple customer are facing this issue and will be fixed part of 8.4.1 due to release mid November
