I have downgraded a Horizon 7 Adv licence key to version 6.2.5 owing to a Customer design constraint and the support is due to expire in 4 weeks.
When the support expires, does that mean I will be stuck with v6.2.5 or will I be able to upgrade the licence key to the original purchased version? A design change to v7.5 is coming and i suspect the Customer will not buy the support within 4 weeks.
Any advice would be gratefully received - I'm slowly getting my head around vmware licensing.
I believe you need a active support contract to be able to upgrade the license.
Just an FYI, Horizon 6.x goes end of general support on 2019/06/19.
