Hi,
I have horizon 7.5 my terminal is windows 10 and my horizon client is 4.8.0.
I would like to launch 2 vdi session from the same Desktop pool using the same client. Currently if I launch a second session it that me back to the first one.
How can I do this?
Thanks
Max
As the same user you cannot do it. You can do a "Run as different user" on the client and login.Just hold shift and right-click the VMware Horizon Client and select run as different user.
You can't, for this you need to setup a windows server and setup a windows rdsh desktop pool, to allow multiple connections to the same machine
Hi,
Just to clear this up,
My workstation (Win10)
- Horizon Client
- Test instant Clone (Desktop pools) 3 Machines (Testinst1, Testinst2, Testinst3)
- I am connected to TestInst1(VDI Session)
(I would like to open Testinst2 or Testinst3 using the same Horizon client/Desktop pools so that I would have 2 vdi session on the same windows 10 Workstation)
I have research this and found no clear way of doing this. My testers would like to be able to do this using instant clone.
Thanks
Max

The different user might work, but I am pretty sure the same user can't connect to different vdi sessions from the same device. You may be able to use the html client and the horizon client at the same time if you enable this setting(Allow user to initiate seperate sessions from different client devices)
