We experience an issue with Horizon View 7.4.
I would say out of the 300-350 users we get about 20-30 a day that get stuck on the welcome screen for Window 10 normally if they have been logged in and locked their machine, the only way to get the machine responsive again is to kill the VMWVvpsvc.exe process. This excluded from real time scanning etc...
We've had to include the ability for users to reset their VM from the pool settings so they that non-persistent linked clone can be destroyed and ability given to the user to log into a new machine.
Anyone else had this issue?
Do you use appvolumes if so what version. There was a version that this was a known issue sometime around 2.10-2.14 range
20 to 30 second black screen on reconnecting with PCoIP and Blast
Might be a relevant thread for you
No we aren't using AppVolumes. 😕
Our login times are actually not bad...when it works. It just appears when the Persona service (VMWVvpsvc.exe.) gets a locked thread it makes the VM unresponsive to PCOIP and logging in via the console on vCenter.
