I have inherited a issue with VDI.. What we are seeing is after the initial login a user will utilize the "follow me desktop" and want to login to a different computer via (Wyse ThinOS / HTML / Horizon Client) while maintaining the current progress they are at. The two follow scenarios will apply.
- If the computer is in a locked state it will never pass the authentication though and will have to login to the VDI workstation at the login screen. There username will be present to login.
- If the computer is not locked it will lock immediately or after 5 seconds of getting into the same desktop.
Keep in mind we are a hospital and the staff run the follow me desktop from patient room to room.
We run Imprivata for SSO / badge readers.
Not sure what im missing if this is a GPO / Horizon setting. We'd like to be able to sign into the system after the initial and have it not prompt for password or lock.
