Has anyone seen an issue where CPA doesn't seem to be balancing their pools properly?
We have 2 Pods, 1 in each of our Data Centers. Utilizing CPA, we prop up 3 pools on each side of say 500 each (3000 total). What we've noticed is for the most part, our users get directed to one side, we'll say DC1 for sake of argument. Almost like for every 50 that go to DC1, 1 will go to DC2. This is not an exact number, just generalizing. A bit more detailed:
Clincal CPA has 2 Pools in DC1 behind it, and 6 pools in DC2 behind it. All 8 pools have 750 VMs total. For the 2 pools in DC1, they're both basically maxxed, 745 in use. But in DC2, we're only seeing about 100 sessions in each of the 6 pools.
One thing we noticed was, within the global entitlement screen, when configuring what pools are behind your CPA, the session count there, does not match what the actual pool tells you on its own details page.
All of our users connect to the View environment via an F5 GTM. That GTM has a DC1 LTM address behind it, and a DC2 LTM address behind it.
Anyone seen anything similar? Is there something we need to discuss with our F5 guys perhaps, or is this even a bug with 6.2.0?
