Hi,
Installed Horizon Client 5.4.0 yesterday and noticed that my mouse scrolling wheel was not working as it should be. It would scroll a few lines and then just stop. It took me a while but then I noticed that scrolling worked fine as long as I moved the mouse. Once I stopped moving the mouse, scrolling wouldn't work anymore (scrolling with arrow keys still works, so it's not a performance issue).
I just reverted to Horizon Client 5.3.0 and mouse scrolling works fine again now.
Don't know if anyone else is having this issue?
Our setup:
Horizon 7.9
VDI based on Windows Server 2019
Connection tested via UAG 3.6 (can't test on internal network at the moment...)
Horizon Client 5.4.0 for Windows
Regards
Michiel.
Followed and this is what I get.
Apologies, I see that it still only shows 5.4.1. My fault, I guessed it would have been updated because the automatic update already shows 5.4.2.
Can you try the update function from within the Horizon Client? Click on the help icon in the top right corner and choose "Software updates".
The picture didn't post so that reply probably sounded odd.
Solid suggestion on the Update through the app mechanic. I did not think to check there. It is updating as we speak.
Thank you.
All versions I have tried newer than 5.3 seem to have this scrolling issue. The fix is to switch on "Scroll inactive windows when I hover over them" under the Mouse settings in Windows on the PC (not the Virtual Desktop).
