Help With Fujitsu FI-7160 scanner

So I've been banging my head over this issue for a while now.

 

We use Fujitsu FI-7160 scanners for various tasks. Our environment uses Dell Wyse thin clients to connect our users to their VM. The usb scanner redirection works perfectly fine with the exception of one of our applications. When you scan into that particular application it creates empty black or white space depending on the Dell ThinOS version. Working with Dell we were able to resolve this issue by putting the pid/vid of the Fujitsu scanner in the Broker Settings of the WMS policy. This solution works perfectly fine in our Test environment. However, when I create a new Policy with the exact same settings in our Production environment the same fix does no work anymore.

I have tried the following combinations with the results indicated:

1. Wyse Device assigned to Test WMS Group Connecting to our Test Broker: Works

2. Wyse Device assigned to Test WMS Group Connecting to our Prod Broker: Does Not Work

3. Wyse assigned to Prod WMS Group Connecting to our Prod Broker: Does Not Work

4. Wyse assigned to Prod WMS group Connecting to our Test Broker: Works

The results lead me to believe it is not an issue with the WMS groups themselves but rather a vmware issue. 

 

The images in both Prod and Test are identical as the image from Test was migrated over into the Prod environment. The following is the application stack in the gold images.

As I mentioned I am at a loss. I have run out of things to try but has anyone else encountered this issue and a resolution?  I know USB Scanner redirection is preferred but unfortunately due to the results of the scanning in a critical application it is not the route we can solely rely on. Why would the Include PID work in our Test Environment but not in Production when everything is 1-to-1?

Just wanted to give an update. One day out of the blue the pid/vid redirection decided to just start working. Issue has been resolved.
