Having startup issues

Any help for time out errors? I have d/led product, selected my server, but can't connect. Get time out error. I have added all sites to explorer so pop up doesn't block. Additionally I d/led on another computer and get can't find server. Any suggestions or help???

That does not say much.. Could you give the full name? There are about 6 products in the Horizon product line.

VMware Horizon View Client 3.0 for 64bit Windows 7

Ok, no problem.

So what you have downloaded is the client part of Horizon View, that is a VMwares VDI and App Remoting solution.

Do you have a Horizon View Broker installed?

No I don't, I was told that the VMware Horizon view client was all I needed to connect to the server. Do I need something else? When opened I add server and then I receive the error message. I have allow the site in my browser (IE10).

Ah, so you got instructed to download the client to connect to a remote Horizon View Server? Then the client should be all that you need.

Did you get a dns-name to connect to or an IP? What is the exact wording of the error-message?

Can you browse to the dns-name with a browser? Any errors or certificate warnings?

I have a dns name and can browse using Chrome without errors. Still don’t know what the problem is with the VMware Client Viewer. But thanks for your help
