HTML5 redirect chrome extension causing java error on ArcGIS geocortex

Installing recently upgraded version 8.7.0 generates error; side loading version 8.6.0 or disabling the extension restores functionality.    We've confirmed this ours in both Chrome or Edge.  Has anyone encountered this and found a work around?

It should have been fixed in the latest extension, you can give it a try
