Hi, I'm looking at a few models of HP thin clients and getting confused about their compatibility.
These clients typically have View client 4.0 or 4.6 installed. Will they be compatible with View connection server 5 ?
The VMware compatibility table is also confusing. Example,
Partner Name | Model | Product Type | Client Type | OS Version | Release | Supported Releases | ||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
HP | t5135 | Hardware | Vendor | HP ThinConnect |
|
|
How do you read this table ? Does it mean it comes by default with 3.0 but able to access server up to 5.0 ?
Regards.
That is what it looks like to me. Although without checking the documentation I'm not sure the 3.0 client is supported for 5.0. It may mean the hardware is supported to install the client all the way up to 5.0
I have figured this out. Got a old thin client to test.
The release column means the HP view agent software, not the VMware view client.
So the table shows this device is delivered with HP 3.0 and able to connect View server up to version 5.
