Hi all!
So, this question is about Multi-monitors. It's straight-forward enough to configure 2 monitors for use in a View Horizon pool, but I have found problems in the use of this when connecting to your VM through a t510 HP client.
Look at the screenshot below of connecting from a View 5.2 client on a Desktop PC with 2 monitors: (see view-1.jpg).
Now, with the latest HP t510 image from HP (Z6X42019.dd.gz) and all of the relevant settings set up in the profile.xml file (HP delivers all settings on an IIS server and pushes the xml file and image to all new clients on a network) -you get no option for Multimonitors even though the thin client has two monitors connected when you are about to connect to a VM, (see image view-2.jpg).
So my question is I am led to believe that this is a t510 HP setting/config and nothing to do with VMware? I do note the following:
HP t510 VMware client version is 5.0.0 (i.e. not the actual VMware View Horizon latest version).
What are peoples thoughts on this?
Many thanks,
Athemiya
I don't see any difference other than a wording change. "Full screen - All Monitors" in your second image is the equivalent setting to "Multimonitor" in the first.

Hi Mike,
There is actually a difference in the configuration.
I actualyl resolved this today - all HP YThin Client users needed to download this latest version of the Smart Zero Client Services:]
This includes all the settings that allow you to specify which monitors are present and to which direction they go next to the primary. It wasn't very clear from HP what you needed to use or they had very old docunmentation pointed in the wrong direction.
The above was obtained directly from a HP Support case.
Thanks for the reply Mike.
