I have a running VMWare View server system.
I got two Thin Clients, one with Windows XPe and antoher HP T5540 with Windows CE 6.0.
First i installed View Client on my Windows XPe Thin Client, everyhing worked correct and i connected successfull to my virtual machine.
After i want to do the same thing with my HP Windows CE machine. I downloaded the VDM connection broker from the HP website (sp42067.exe) and tryed to install it. When i double click the executable nothing happens. There is not even a new windows or anything else. How do i install this client on my Windows CE machine, or is this the wrong way to connect my virtual machines?
Thanks for your Help and sorry for my bad english
Hi,
It's normal, this is a package for altiris installation. It means that for Windows CE thinclient you should use altiris to install Vmware View Client package.

There is no View Client available for Windows CE. They View client is only available for Windows 2000, XP, XPe and Vista.

Hallo
Thank you, everything works great now!
Next time I will first read the Release Notes.
So how exactly do you got it installed?
Open the exe file. Extract the .CAB file from it. That .CAB file can be "run" from the Windows CE machine by double clicking.
