We have a VDI environment as outlined below:
6 X VSphere 4.0 Hosts
Vmware Vcentre Server 4.0
Veiw 4.0
Our Windows XP Pro Guests keep going to Stanby mode and I do not wish them to.
==And yes== all Windows power management settings are set to "never".
Another problem seems to be that while they are going into standby the Hosts keep going off the planet with CPU usage. Therefore inhibiting the performance of the whole system to the point of useless.
I have tried Windows Updates and completly fresh parent images, also virus checking without success. I am at a loss and the presure is growing as our system of more than 200 Vms is rapidly becoming useless. PLEASE HELP
