Get list of available desktop names from horizon view client

Hi,

Is it possible to get a list of desktop names to which a user can connect using the view client?

When the wswc.exe is started, it shows all the available desktops to which the user can connect.

Is it possible to get this same information programatically using any exe or using the registry etc?

Do let me know if any further clarification is needed from my side.

Hello!

If you try to run a command in command line "vdmadmin -M" on your Connection-server, you will get a list with all desktop VMs, that are serviced by View Manager.

Thanks for your reply. But I was looking for a way in which I can get information similar to what the GetPoolEntitlement -pool_id "pool_Identifier" gives on the view connection server and check if a particular user is entitled to that pool. Specifically, I was looking for a way to get this information not on the view connection server but from the machine where the viewClient is installed. (wswc.exe).
