Geolocation Redirection Popup in Horizon Client

Hello

Is there a way to prevent this popup from appearing on first logon via Horizon Client? I disabled VMware Geolocation Redirection via GPO, but apparently this has no effect on the popup and the user can also still toggle the setting on and off.

Hi @Michael_Turconi,

When Geolocation is not required in general, you can unselect Geolocation Redirection during the installation of the Horizon Agent in the golden image.

Thanks, that's a good idea, I'll look into that. Still it would be great to have more control via GPO for existing VDIs or if only some of the users need Geolocation Redirection

Hi Michael,

Do you have MS Teams Optimization installed in your agent ? E911 for MS Teams also needs location service. You can disable E911 as well
