GCVE - Horizon - UAG Connection Issue

Horizon 8.2.0 build - 17736878

Not new to Horizon (been a few years sense I have done a fresh build) but not done a build within GCVE.  So some quirks that are most likely user error but after a few days, not seeing the reason.  Looking for second pair of eyes to review settings or provide idea on debut

Connection Servers (Brokers)

https://cs01.dev.test.local/portal/webclient/#/launchitems

https://cs02.dev.test.local/portal/webclient/#/launchitems

UAG Cluster (with 3 interfaces configuration)

https://uag01m.dev.test.local/

https://uag02m.dev.test.local/

Log DB (MS SQL Express)

vdilogdb.dev.test.local

ODBC Connection: Works for System DSN with local account to DB from each Connection server

Issues 1:

UAG Configuration UI -> Manual -> Horizon Settings :

https://cs01.dev.test.local/portal/webclient/#/launchitems   (portal for client login works, so this server is working)

Connection server box has great example.  Showing  "http" hmmm.. but then :443 at end ... ok.. sure..   Other Youtube and VMware training shows just using https/serverurl.blah    but .. meh.. followed example (though I tried every way I could think of)

I followed deployment guide.. and also cross referenced to various youtube training materials to get "self signed key" from connection server(s) and put them into each UAG:  I used very nice pop up example, as server does do SHA256  that I pulled from Connection server thumbprint.   The base thumbprint does NOT have ":"  but example shows with.. I have tried both ways.. no change.

Ex:  UAG01  defined to connect to CS01  which has key sha256=eb:10:24:31:27:45:93:95:51:94:47:99:0e:43:71:10:2b:26:10:84

But with following exact examples.  I never get connection link

Issue 2:  DB connection for log server.

One of the most important things to do is get logs... so you can debug.. which implies configuration of log server

I have never had this more then 2 min of effort.. But nothing working this round.   Basic deploy of MS SQL Express latest version. Named DB instance + DB + Create local DB account  as DBO with default DB to new DB.

I have RDP into each connection server, open ODBC and browse server, input username, it notes default DB is newly created DB...  Test "Success"

but when I put fields into the Connection server it will not connect.  I have disabled all firewalls on connection server but... it SHOULD just use 1433 just like ODBC client... which works.

Image attached shows one of my attempts.  Wondering if I am missing something obvious here.

I've reported your thread which notifies moderators it should be moved - the {code} area is for SDK matters.
