Force Password Change Via View - Does yours work?

I'm running View 4.0.1. When I create a user and set their password to require resetting upon login I'm getting very curious issues.

View recognizes that the password reset needs to occure and takes me to a old/new password set screen. This happens successfully for both the thick client and the web portal login. Upon entering a known good (meets complexity requirements) password I am greeted with an error stating "Unknown user or bad password" in the thick client. The web portal returns two dialogs in the same box, a confirmation that my password was changed and the same "Unknown user or bad password" dialog.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? I'm running 2k3 AD. I plan to call VMWare Support later today but it would be nice to know if anyone else is having a similar issue.
