Hi All.
I have a Horizon 8.8 environment. We use FSLogix for profile management. For the most part if work as it should be we do get occasional Help Desk calls on slower logins and black screens at logins that last around 15 seconds. I have investigated a few of these incidents and found in the FSLogix logs that there are issues with connecting to the profile disk. This is not the case with all users. Looking at FSLogix prerequisites they say that Antivirus should be excluded from the VHDX folder (disks with profiles). Our security team says this is not the case as we use CrowdStrike EDR Antivirus solution and exclusions should not be necessary. Has anyone else had any similar issues that were corrected by adding the exclusion? Is anyone running CrowdStrike Falcon and have no issues at all with slow loading FSLogix profiles.
Thanks.
I would strongly suggest to post this on a fslogix forum as well. But as far as I know crowdstrike still needs exlusions to prevent things being slowed down.
Hi
thanks for your input, do you have a link to a FSLogix forum that you know of?
Thank you.
