Error when create AutoPool VMWareVIew

Hi there.

I have problem with vmware view 5.0. When I create AutoPool for window xp, I has error when join domain. But when I check on Domain Controller, this have this computer name. I don't know why this. Please help me. Thanks alots.

Does dns work properly?

Is the master-image configured with DHCP?

Have the account enough rights to join the machine to the domain?

good suggestions about DNS, do you have domain controller 2008? did you try windows 7? same problem? Any read only domain controllers?

1. with windows 2008 DC's I had problems with XP pools because the XP machines were missing some patches to make it compatible with joining process.

2. Seem these problem with RODC, need to lower the priority on them.

did you check the vm logs?
