Error during Customization of Desktop

I created a new parent Desktop for provisioning a non-persistent pool. During the customization process of the virtual desktop I get an Error "Customization operation timed out". In the Infrastructure Client's event view all desktops appear to have finished the customization process and only in the View Administrator the error occurs. Although the Infrastructure Client shows no error the desktops are not accessible...

Why does this happen? Has anybody made similiar experience during desktop provisioning? Is there a solution for this problem

View Version is 3.1.2

I had the same issue, but it was because I did not load the vmview agent on the template I was working on.

Watch out for firewall blocking the communication between any of the infrastructure components:

Windows guests, vdm, composer, vcenter..

The VMware agent is installed on the template machine and there ist no firewall service running on the template machine as well...

What ist quiet wired. It worked until the last modification on the template and now there's this issue....

On a testenvironment it seems that following article works as solution (Altough the problem should be solved with version 3.1.2) --> http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1011653
