I'm trying to do a Point of Concept with Horizon View 5.5.
I cannot add a vcenter server to the view manger. I keep getting an "error saving vCenter entry"
If i look in the log file i have this
2013-10-15T05:42:55.736-07:00 ERROR (0814-0D38) <TP-Processor2> [Connection4] Connection to the vCenter Server https://srv-vcenter.clasd.net:443/sdk failed.
I'm completely lost on what to do.
I was able to solve my problem. I was putting the username in as domain\username. Once I put it in as username@domain everything worked.
Does the user you are using have all the correct permissions?
Any firewalls inbetween the connections?
It may be a long shot but I think I remember having a similar issue that was due to format of my username/password. I think I endedup using domain\%username% and then the password for it to work correctly.
I'm using the domain administrator.
When I put the username in i do domain\%username%.
If I log into the vcenter server through the web client I do not see any information. If I log into the vcenter server web client with SSO Login I see everything.
