Entitlement problem

Guys,

I am setting up VDI environment using View 3. I have done it with VDM2 without any problems.

I have ESX 3.5 with VC 2.5 with VMware View 3 Premier.

Now, as I installed View, I am trying to entitle some Windows XP VMs to users. However, when I get to the screen to find Users or Groups in AD, it finds nothing!

Connection server VM and AD VM see each other and can resolve names. Users and Groups exist in the AD.

Any ideas?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Are you trying to enable GROUPS? or users? I know this may sound silly, but have you made certain that you CHECK the GROUPS checkbox? If you don't check the USERS checkbox AND the GROUPS checkbox, you won't find any groups.

In the admin webportal under Configure can you add domain users as Administrators?

Is your View Connection Server joined into the domain?

In the Add entitlement or Add administrator dialog you have a dropdown menu named "Domain" where you can select "Entire Directory" (Default) or the domain itself, any trusted domain or such. Is this menu empty?
