Entitled users receiving "Not entitled" messages

Hi,

I'm trying to use the registry to point the Windows View client to a particular pool with the "DesktopName" entry. Each time I enable this, users who are entitled to log in to the target pools, get a message indicating they are not entitled. ??? All VMs in the pool are available. There are no apparent protocol errors, other than it takes forever to connect to and load a desktop. We're using View client version 3.5.2 build-3150477 on Windows 7 Pro x64 clients configured as VDI endpoints. Any idea what is going on here?

I answered my own question. It turned out that I had "DesktopName" set to populate the ID of the pool, and not the display name. Once I tried the display name, everything worked. Who knew?
