Embedded XP Thin Client or Properitary Thin Client OS ?

Dear all,

I am evaulating HP Thin Client (Windows XP Embedded) and Wyse Thin Client (S10, V10L) which are based on WTOS.

Can anyone give me real usage experience ?

Can Wyse Thin Client S10/V10L support USB redirection ?

I am testing the wyse v10L and have been fairly pleased. The usb support has been very good. I have tested on my local lan, over mpls wan and they have worked with few issues. Please keep me informed on how the hp clients work.

Hi,

Wyse have a software offering- which combined with the V10L can deliver Rich Multi Media, Dual Screen and Virtual USB Redirection.

I'd go with WTOS. My idea of a "thin client" is not exactly XPe...... WTOS is truely a thin client OS. But that's me.... your mileage might vary.

Yes the V10L does support, as other stated, USB redirect and other stuff as well.

Real usage experience.... See this ...

Your article is very useful for me. 3000 XPe + 3000 Virtual Desktop example is so realistic. 😃
