Domain is unavailable

I recently upgraded to Horizon 8 in my home lab. When I try to create an Instant Clone pool I end up with the error as shown below (AD container can not be set since domain is unavailable.) at the Guest Customization step and I cannot complete the pool setup. Any help would be very much appreciated.

What domain level do you have in the lab?

Check to make sure you got one of these

You have to configure an instant clone domain.  Under settings you can configure an Instant Clone Domain Account.

Soooooo thankful for the replies, believe me. Had not considered either of those possibilities. Domain functional level is at a supported level but having only been able to have linked clones in my lab (prior to upgrading to Horizon 😎 I had never created an instant clone pool. In other words, missed needing to add the instant clone domain account. Thanks again for taking the time to respond.

try booting you GI and add that to the domain to see if you can at least can join something domain. If that works try another IC domain administrator account
