Disconnects after 60min's!?

HI!

I have an amazingly weird issue, we have a few zero-clients(Samsung NC240) deployed and we're experiencing a very odd issue, when a user has been logged on to a desktop for pretty much exactly 60 minutes they get disconnected, in the diagnostics it says "Connection closed by remote host". I have been troubleshooting the network and cannot find anything so now im looking for anything else but im kindof stuck.

Our zero-clients connect through the Security Server, the protocol used is PCoIP.

Where do I start? The network works fine.

Without knowing too much about View (just started) I would check if you have defined timeouts in RDP on th evirtual desktop or if there is a global session timeout (default: 600 min.).

Im sure that wont work, this issue occurs with the PCoIP protocol, that shouldnt have anything to do with the RDP settings.

What else would cause a disconnect every 60 minutes? This is confirmed, and this occurs even when the user is active. Could it have something to do with the session timeout value in the view manager configuration?

Any device in between? A firewall for example.

Yeah i have two firewalls between the client and the vm.

The problem is solved, the issue was the session timeout, once set to 6000 seconds the problem vanished, odd.

Thanx a bunch tho! Smiley Happy
