Disable external access

I have several desktop pools and would like to enable external access through my security server for some users but not others.  Is there a way to do this?  I'd like to do it at the user level but the pool level would be fine as well.  Right now everyone can access internally as well as externally...

Yes you can do this with "Restricted Entitlements". There's a section on this in the admin guide called "Restricting View Desktop Access". Page 116 here http://pubs.vmware.com/view-50/topic/com.vmware.ICbase/PDF/view-50-administration.pdf

You basically "tag" your connection servers (e.g. "External" and "Internal"). By default, pools are available to all tags, but you can restrict this and say for particular pools that you want to restrict access to "Internal" only. That way they are not available to users accessing View from remote locations.

Look in the admin guide for tags. This will allow you to block certain pools from being accessed through a security server.
