Different View connection servers connected to one Virtual Center with View Composer

Hi everybody,

Is it possible to connect different standard View connection servers (from different Microsoft domains) to one Virtual Center with View Composer which belongs to another Microsoft domain ?

View version : 4.5

View composer : 2.5

Vmware vShere version : ESXi 4.1.0 build 348481.

Thanks for your help

Regards

Franck

Do all the domains have a two way trust in place?

I don't see why it wouldn't work.    Try it out and let us know if you run into any problems.

Hi Franck.

It is not recommended to connect two different View Pod Connection Servers to the same View Composer.

E.g  If the second connection server is not a replica of the first you should use a second View Composer.

Simon, what are some of the problems related to having multiple View environments using the same composer?    I am one to always want each environment to have it's own resources but multiple vCenter servers and composer could be a bit much for some people.

I guess I'm lucky in that I only have one View environment to manage Smiley Happy
