Device Administrator permissions are required to save username/password but not identified

When reviewing the permissions of the Android Client in the Play store, only Full Network Access is listed.  However, in order to save username/passwords, the Android client requires the ability to make itself a Device Administrator and enforce a password policy (screen lock) on the device.

Is there a way to remove the device administrator requirement?

Is there a way to disable the VMware requirement to enforce a password Keyguard lock policy on the device?

These settings should be left to the View administrator not dicatated by VMware.
