Desktop Pool Naming conflict with Vcenter VM Name-Is it possible?

Hi everyone,  I hope this is not a dumb question, but

If I were to name the desktop pool the same name as I have the VM in Vcenter would it cause an issue?

ex.

the VM is called VDISTUDENT2020  Would there be a conflict if I call the desktop pool VDISTUDENT2020

I am just trying to simplify this as much as possible in case someone needs to come behind me later and make some changes.

Thanks

Hi usgrcm

There will absolutely be no problem keeping a desktop pool name same as VM. You can do this.

Desktop pool names are stored in View AD LDS database (not in vcenter database) hence you can do this however make sure no two desktop pools have same name in horizon view that will cause conflict.
