I am deploying the UAG version 3.4 directly to an ESXi host (not using vCenter). When I fill in all the details on the OVF template the appliance deploys correctly, however I cannot logon via the admin interface. when I view the admin.log file on the UAG appliance it gives me the detail that 'Since no admin password has been configured for the admin root user a user will not be created'. If I check the /etc/passwd file I can see that the admin user has not been created. I have definitely entered a password on the OVF properties page and it meets the requirements. Am I able to manually run the first boot script that will create the admin user?
