Deploy UAG to vCloud Director

Hey there,

has anyone an Idea, if and how it is possible to Deploy an EUC Unified Access Gateway via vCloud Director? The Powershell Script expects to tals to a vCenter, and importing OVA's to vCloud director is possible, but dows not show the expected vApp config Window.

Any other Idea, or ist is just the "long" way to deploy to a temporary vCenter via Powershell, export the (configured) VM, and  redeploy it to vCloud Director.

Hey Markus,

maybe let the service provider deploy the VM and import it into the specific tenant afterwards.

Kind Regards

Did you ever get a solution to this as I'm in the same boat as you?

Deploy this into vCenter normally with powershell and ini file.

Then go to vCloud, click on vApps, click New import VM and select the UAG VM you wish to import.

Ensure Move Virtual Machine is left disabled. Click import.

This will create a vApp with the machine name and the VM inside, it will also map the networks to the ones you gave in the UAG file, they need to match your vCloud networks.

If you enable Move Virtual Machine, it resets all the network connections and you have to start again. Leave disabled
