Hello together,
in order to use the automated desktop pools with provisioning you can set the customization specifications within the virtual center. Do you need to install the syspred utility somewhere?
Do I just nedd these settings for an automated desktop pool?
What will happen if I do not set these settings and I'm going to deploy 10 virtual machines from one golden master machine?
regards
Dennis
That depand of how you want to deploy VM :
If you want to use Composer and so linked clone then you need nothing else.
If you want to deploy "standard" VM from a template then you can :
Used sysprep directly in the VM (I personnaly don't like this solution)
or put XP's sysprep files in the VC (as for servers) and so used VC Customization wizard to deploy new VMs and customize them.

No you do not need to sysprep the master image, the Quick prep process, manages the machine uniqueness.
