Control-Click

I'm trying to do a control-click in the Windows Desktop.  Control-click on a Mac does a right-click, so I get a right click on the desktop.  Is there anyway to override the Mac right-click so that I do a Windows control-click to select multiple items?  Doing a shift-click work with no problems.

Thanks,

I figured out you can press the control and option keys simultaneously with the left mouse click to get this to work.  Hope this helps.

Thanks!  That did the trick.

On a Mac, you generally use Command+Click to get the same effect as a Ctrl+Click on Windows.  Strangely, Command-Click on my MacBook inside of a Windows XP View desktop works just like it would on a Mac.  Unfortunately, VMware is across the board on which Mac shortcuts translate to Windows and which do not.  For example, Command+W would normally close a tab in Firefox/Chrome when running on a Mac OS natively.  However, that's Ctrl+W on Windows (which works) but if you accidentally press Command+W on a Mac while inside a Windows View desktop, it'll close the entire browser window.  I'm not even sure what Windows keyboard shortcut that translates to.
