I'm encountering a strange issue with a connection manager. We are testing Horizon 7 and using HTML access to desktops is spawning a certificate warning.
When we connect to a desktop via HTML, the connection manager hands-off to an IP address not an FQDN. This generates a certificate warning in the browser. You can acknowledge the warning and get right into your desktop. I'd like to eliminate the warning by forcing the connection manager to send to an FQDN not an IP address.
There was an ADM template that used to help force this. It appears to be deprecated in Horizon 7. I had to go all the way back to View 5.x to get the setting in the View GPO.
Update the View Agent ADM Template Settings for the Agent VMs
Enable the Connect using DNS Name GPO configuration setting.
Any thoughts? Has anyone else seen this issue?
