Concurrent Connections

I am new to VDI. Please help me what does it mean when they concurrent connections. Under VSPP, you pay some points per concurrent connection per month. What is concurrent connection and how many do you need per Virtual Desktop?

Concurrent connections are the number of users simultaneously connected at a point in time to any desktop. The opposite of concurrent connections is named licensing, which means you pay for the number of users entitled to a virtual desktop, but they do not necessarily have to be connected.

You would generally not have many users connected to the same desktop at the same time. This would ideally mean one concurrent connection or may be two if you want to reserve one at a time.

For VSPP, do you mean you pay for users entitled for a desktop and not the no. of users concurrently connected? In that case, how would usage meter know how may users are entitled to a desktop?
