Composer is sharing replicas between Pools?

We have a customer that has two desktop pools.

Each pool is based on the same VM and the same snapshot.  The desktop pool settings are different.

We noticed that vCenter only has 1 replica.  The second pool is using the replica of the first pool.  Is this normal?  I've never seen this behavior before.

I've always seen a separate replica per desktop pool per datastore.

The problem we have is that when recomposing the second pool, it will fail with "a digest operation has failed".  Which would make since with digest acceleration enabled.

Simply re-enabling provision allows it to continue but its weird.  Deleting and recreating the pool did not help either.

This View 6.2 and vCenter/ESXi 6.0

Thoughts?

That is normal behavior if the pools are using the same snapshot and replica datastore.   It's been like that for awhile.
