Composer DB SQL version

We want to use a dedicated SQL 2005 server for the vCenter and Composer databases.

There is a list of databases in the VMware View admin guide which mention SQL 2000 standard, SQL 2000 enterprise, SQL 2005 enterprise and others.

SQL 2005 Standard is not in this list.

Is SQL 2005 Standard not supported for VMware View while express and enterprise are supported?

And is there any sizing information for the composer SQL database? How much will the db grow with each linked clone?

Weird. I'm going to double-check that because I remember that as long as vCenter supported it, Composer should be fine.

That said, a Composer install with 2000 linked clones will take about 22MB.

Document "oopsie". SQL 2005 Standard is supported. (IIRC, the vCenter says SP1 or SP2 -- whatever SPs are listed with vCenter would also apply to Composer).
