Cloud Pod Architecture... and creating a new pool

hey there

So I was able to get 2 pods federated - they see each other but now when I go to the 2nd View connection server I cannot create a new desktop pool. The parent image(s) are not being seen. When I go to the original pod I can see all the parent images but when I am in the pod that I joined I cannot create a pool. There has to be a simple explanation that I am not finding. Any help would be appreciated.

Connecting the pods through the Cloud Pod Architecture does not configure the vCenter integration within pods. All of that, including desktop pool creation, has to be done on a pod by pod basis.

As eeg3 says, with CPA each pod is still fully responsible for its own configuration and resource management, there is no intention to share VM images or anything at that level.

Instead, once desktop resources on a pod are configured CPA allows the pooling of those resources across multiple pods and even across datacenters. CPA then takes care of managing the delivery of desktops from those pooled desktop resources to end users, looking across all pods if necessary to find an available desktop.

thank you - there was a network issue with the host so the parent image was not being seen. Corrected that last night and all is good now. thank you.
