Chromebooks can be put into single app kiosk mode. In other words, I can force a Chromebook to start up and automatically launch the VMWare View client for ChromeOS. For us, this makes the Chromebook the ultimate portable client for View sessions with one big shortcoming, no USB pass through. Any USB device plugged into the Chromebook will simply not be recognized by the View desktop.
Does anyone know if this feature is on the timeline to be incorporated into a future View client?
BTW, Citrix already has this. Not that I am going to jump to Citrix but I wanted to point out that this is not some type of technical limitation that it cannot be done
