Change a VDI from one host to another

Hi there,

Is there any problems with moving a VDI from one host to a completly new host, of course the data backend is on a SAN that both servers can see so if I setup a new Host can I simply move it via vSphere to the new host or would that break anything on the View backend?

Any info most welcome...

You should be fine as long as your not switching up which vCenter the VDI machine is on.

If you're just vMotioning them within the same cluster, that isn't a problem. In fact, you can use DRS to help load balance your virtual desktops among your hosts.
