Cannot re-logon to a logged off session

Hi,

I have been advised by our VMware contacts that this is a known issue apparently but I am seeking more information about this issue.

Issue: once I make a conenction to the VM from my workstation via the VDM webpage\VDI client, I can make a connection to the VM. If I log off I cannot reconnect until I restart the VDI agent on the VM. If I disconnect from the VDI session opposed to logging off I can reconnect fine. It is when I LOG OFF the session I cannot reconnect until I restart the VDI service on the VM.

I recieve an error as follows.

"you are not permitted to log onto this session"

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could this be caused by the following known issue with Windows XP - .

I am not aware of any known issue within VDM2 that could cause this.

Hi Jon,

the error in that KB is the correct error message I get (You do not have access to logon to this session), and does sound likely that it is the problem. I will test this and post results.
