Cannot connect to VMware View Broker outside of firewall

I have a new VDI Solution in pilot mode - things work perfect on the local subnet - but when trying to connect from outside I get: (after entering domain credentials)

"The View Connection Server authentication failed. A secure connection to the View Connection Server cannot be established."

I am not using a Security Server in the DMZ - I just have a broker VM on the internal side that has a outside NAT with 443 and 4001 allowed in.

What could I be missing? Keep in mind that it works great on the inside.

I do have an SSL cert installed on the broke, and that seems to be working fine.

I am using VMware View 3.01.

Good news, I got this working - I never set the Exteranl URL setting in the Admin config on the broker. I put in (server.domain.com):443 and restarted the VMware Connection Service. Works!!
