I am in the middle of evaluating VMware Horizon View Suite. I have it set it up based on the information provided in the above link
I am able to connect to my desktops internally through the Horizon View Client and through HTML.
I am also able to connect externally through HTML - BUT NOT - through the Horizon View Client from an external location.
my first thought is that I do not have all of the correct ports opened up on my network firewall, this is what I have open, am I missing anything?
TCP / 80
TCP / 443
TCP / 4001
TCP / 4172
TCP / 8009
TCP / 8443
UDP / 4172
Any help is appreciated with this!
Exercise 3:Connecting to a Horizon View Desktop from a Mobile View Client
"Launch the Horizon View Client from you iOS mobile device... You will be prompted to enter the host name or IP address of the View Composer Server"
View Composer Server? When I enter that IP address, it fails immediately, is this a misprint?
Any help is greatly appreciated
