Cannot Power Off Desktops

Since our upgrade to view 5, my desktops will not stay powered off. These are desktops that, in View, are set to "Take no power action" but still, when I power them down in vsphere, they power right back up. Anyone have any ideas why, or how I can change that? I need to have some machines powered off to allow for configuration changes and such.

Thanks,

Mark

Can you test with one desktop if removing it from View Admin and adding back in allows for the desktop to recognize the Power state?

Had this issue when we went 4.0 to 4.5 and that resolved the issue for me - also, are the VMware tools up to date?

Hope this helps!

Well I feel a little silly. So your answer, while not exactly the issue, allowed me to figure out what was going on. When I went to try what you suggested, I realized that I had the pools set such that the number of desktops was equal to the number of spare powered on desktops. So view was doing exactly what I told it to do....

Anyway, thanks for your reply, I appreciate it.
